Climate-Ready NL is a powerful new initiative designed to equip municipalities across the province with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to adapt to our changing climate. Through a dynamic blend of training, local engagement, and hands-on support, this project will help communities identify their risks, protect their people, and plan for a resilient future.

Funded through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Green Municipal Fund and the Government of Canada, Climate-Ready NL is delivering high-impact capacity building to 100 municipalities—and sparking province-wide momentum with an engaging education campaign. â€‹Whether your town is battling flooding, coastal erosion, or extreme weather, Climate-Ready NL is here to help you face it head-on—together.

This program is spearheaded by Municipalities NL, with assistance from SAM, Professional Municipal Administrators (PMA), NL's Association of Fire Services (AoFS), Fundamental Inc., Conservation Corps NL, Grenfell Campus, MUN, College of the North Atlantic, Natural Assets Initiative, CLIMAtlantic, and other contributors.
