Printable Educational Resources
Public education can help foster a greater sense of habitat stewardship amongst town residents. This section is designed for members of the public to learn more about Wildlife and the Special Places within Newfoundland and Labrador. Our Outreach Coordinator has created some educational resources for your own personal use, use within your classroom, use with your community group (such as Girl Guides or Scouts), or for use with members of your community.
SAM provides educational outreach and engagement at no charge. If you are interested in adding nature education to your next community event, reach out!
Engagement opportunities can include:
-
Presentations to your classroom or group (virtually or in person)
-
Indoor environmental programming
-
Outdoor programming such as interpretive walks
-
This can also include snowshoeing events, birdwatching events, and more
-
