SAM supports our members  in Newfoundland and Labrador in the conservation and stewardship of important wildlife habitat.

SAM Conservation Fund:

An Endowment for Nature

SAM utilizes this fund to award annually a $1000 scholarship to a student either from or studying in Newfoundland and Labrador whose interests, activities and post-secondary goals are focused on the conservation of habitat in this province. Applicants who are seeking to undertake wildlife habitat restoration, enhancement and stewardship projects in this province will be given special consideration.
